New Relationships (FINAL WEEK OF CAPS)

This is a cap from my archive - see this post for more details. This was a bit of a different long cap - originally it was slated to be a cuckold theme (something I don't do often because I don't particularly enjoy it), but it evolved into something slightly different based around rewarding good behavior. Hope you appreciate it for what it is

Winning the Challenge

So with all the caps from Maddi's site posted, the only things appearing on any site other than this one will be my "Idea Archives". These are basically images with a small blurb under them for caption ideas I thought of but didn't actually write. I'll start posting them first on Ariel's site today, and then the others in the next few days.

Wine Aficionado

Hi all! Bit of a longer post to touch on a few things. First, thank you to all those who have been entering in the caption contest - I think I'll let people enter submissions over the weekend and then post them all on Monday (early or late I still haven't decided yet). Also, I've been getting a few questions from various people on where to find pictures, so I figured that I'd just share where I like to go! My Top 5 places to search for pictures:
1. Tumblr - I do have a Tumblr page (which I haven't updated in over a year...lol), but mostly I use Tumblr to follow other people who make captions or just have really good photos I like. Picking a few sites that update regularly/focus on pics you like (bimbos, shemales, and crossdressers for me) and checking them every once in a while is a great way to get pics.
2. ImageFap - An interesting site that caters to more sexual images (and caps!)...pop-ups and really distracting ads are common place, but the image sets that are on there are usually very, very good.
3. Pintrest - Usually has a lot of good image sets as well, but I find it harder to search for good sets on the site itself because the site tends to have cleaner content and thus won't have many people posting about the things we like on this blog :)
4. Other people's captions - I will admit that if some captioner I see uses a picture that I REALLY like in a cap, I will take the cap, paste it into paint, and crop for just the image for reuse. Generally I tend to avoid this (in a sense to increase diversity of images in the captioning community and also because I find that my stories end up similar to the caption the image came from), but it's also an option that I definitely see other captioners employ.
5. Google Search! - Easily the simplest and frequently most effective way to get images. Just search a theme, scroll through pics, and see where it takes you! Also, if I find an image I like, often I will right-click the image and choose "Search Google for this image" in the pop-up menu (don't know if it works for all we browsers, but it works for me!). Sometimes the "similar images" will also contain things I like, or will lead to posts containing that images that also have more images I like in them.
So yeah! Just my two cents on what you can do/what I do! Obviously, be conscious of what kind of images you are taking and whether you are concerned with copyright and such - I've never had any problems but there are people out there who might get angry if you use their photos to make them into a gorgeous bimbo or something.

Anyways, today's cap inspired by vloggers, specifically those who focus on wine. I'm not much of a wine drinker myself, but I think I threw in enough double entendre terminology to make it fun. Enjoy!

SISSYING

Alright! The lastest caption contest is up and here is the first cap in a looooong time! I think it's a good one...there may be some pop culture references that people outside the US (or even in the US) might not get...but it's a fun cap even without that. Enjoy!

Contest Winner Cap: Kieran

Hello everyone! I have a longer little spiel today before I get into the prize cap for the day. There have been a lot of little comments/things I have been meaning to address, but simply haven't had the time or energy as I caught a bug on Wednesday that hasn't gone away. So here is what I have to say!

First, after about 5 days of "voting" in the ratings poll for the Monday Meditation post, there seems to be a lot of popularity for certain themes/series. I hesitate to claim any as a favorite, as the rating system caused confusion on more recent posts (the numbering 1-7 was meant exclusively for the Monday Meditation post...I will have returned to the usual rating prompts as of this post) and I don't know how many people actually voted. That being said, the Songstress, New U Salon, and School Dress Code ideas were the most popular, and I plan on trying to get some caps made for those soon. However, I also am considering doing other themes/series that were somewhat popular, or that I am more interested in doing myself. For example, the Interracial Sissy theme was decently supported, and I may mix some of these caps in with regular caps under the "interracial sissy" tag, and I also have gotten far enough along in the Sissy Birthday series to want to finish it and am confident that it will be a decent work for you to enjoy.

Secondly, I want to express my sincere gratitude for the recent number of comments/feedback that have appeared under recent caps and emails you all have sent me. It's always nice to hear from you all on what you like in terms of themes, images, and other things I do in my captioning. It's also awesome when my caps inspire responses as to how people (especially captioners) would do similar work, or what adjustments I could make to improve my own. Thank you so much for all these kind/helpful words - it is truly appreciate.

Finally, playing off the idea of "commenting", I was hoping for a little feedback on artistic layout, both for my caps and the format of the blog itself. Having spent enough time in the TG captioning community to see all sorts of new blogs/new styles of caps pop up, both from new authors as well as established captioners, I am beginning to wonder if it's time to give my captioning a "makeover". On the one hand, I am hesitant to make broad scale changes to my blog/caps, having grown attached to the identity I've created over the years as the captioner with the same hot pink background, the simple Calibri font with no frills, and the classic ditzy Tara Babcock bimbo image for my banner and profile pic. On the other hand, I see the lovely caption layouts done by wonderful captioners such as Miss Simone and Wes Mantooth, as well as the elegantly designed blogs of Nikki Jenkins and Annabelle (to name just a few of the many) and wonder "Should I do something like this to improve my image/identity?" Let me know what you think in the comments below - should this blog and my work get a makeover?

Whew! All this talking and we still have to get to the lovely caption for Kieran! The wonderful idea behind this was a pair of swimmers who had a friendly competition to see who could be the best swimmer...with delicious feminization being the real end result. I modified this theme slightly as the image I had was based on one person, but it still holds true to the major points of this clever concept - enjoy!

Three Friends, Four Caps

As a bit of business, I will be having a longer, exclusively written post discussing random things that I've wanted to talk about. This will be asking for feedback from all of you, so check that our please! Also, the Explicit Caption Contest is up and will be running for a little while longer, so try and get caps in sooner rather that later!

So today I have something a little special for you. As a captioner, my process generally goes as follows: I see an image I like, I envision a story for that image, and then I caption it. Occassionally, however, when I see an image I see multiple possibilities for the same image. Such is the case for this lovely image here! I actually thought of four possible stories, two of them fairly similar, two of them somewhat similar, but all unique none the less. I'm sharing them all with you today but would like to know - which caption was your favorite? Let me know in the comments below/if you would like to see more sets like this that involve multiple stories from the same image!

Working Bois Part 2: Carli's Deal

Hello everyone! I am very pleased to bring you a VERY special project that starts today. I had been chatting with the wonderful Wes Mantooth of Interracial Sissy captions, someone with a unique style of captions and great captioning mind that I respect greatly, when he suggested the idea of doing a collaborative series together! I was intrigued, we started throwing around some ideas, and before we knew it we had created a 28 caption series together! Now, having finished the project, we are eager to share our collaborative work together on our respective blogs!

The way that this will work is that each day for the next two weeks, Wes and I will simultaneously post the next two parts in the series on our respective blogs. Each of these parts were created by ourselves (so all captions on my blog were done by me, and all captions on Wes' blog are by him), but flow in order from the beginning to the end. As such, each day I will post my cap as well as a link to the previous cap in the series done by Wes, as well as a general link to all the captions done by Wes on his blog (I will also have a link to all the caps on my blog, in case you want to catch up).

So what is the series? Well, not wanting to spoil too much, the series is called "Working Bois" and is based in Wes' interracial sissy universe. This universe is one in which black men are dominant and white males are expected by black men to dress as extremely feminine "sissies", with breast/lip impants, scandalous outfits, and heavy makeovers generally expected. Our plot is based around two characters, Sam and Carl, a father-son pairing who both work at the same company under a powerful black boss. However, something happens that affects both their lives...and sets them down the path that defines our series!

I understand that this kind of theme isn't my usual bread-and-butter, but it is one that I REALLY enjoy and have considered trying  similar captions on my own blog, so I hope you enjoy it too! If this isn't really your cup of tea, I will have a poll three days into this series (so Tuesday) asking what you think of the series so far and whether you'd rather see other captions. If people are clamoring for my old work as opposed to this series (which I would be surprised about, as it is VERY sexy), I will try to intermix some regular caps for you all while the series is going on.

But, without further ado, here is my first cap, the second in the series! Link to the first cap is here, and the general tags for Wes's blog and my blog are now linked. Enjoy!

Contest Winner Cap: Kieran

So contest winner caps will be posted for the next week, and I haven't decided when exactly I'm going to close the submission period of the Bimbos: Elena Starz Classic contest. It will definitely last until at least Sunday, as I haven't gotten a lot of responses yet (although more as of late, so thank you those who have submitted). It will stay open longer if I get less submission than I want, but don't use this as an excuse to slack off! Send me caps or just text for a cap that I will format for you if you have any sort of idea for this contest.

So we're starting off with Kieran's cap today, which is based of the fun idea of a competition for a car where the person with his hand on it the longest wins the car...but the longer you stay on, the more feminine you get! Hope you enjoy this cap!

Contest Winner Cap: Victoria

Hi all! So we are just over halfway through the submission window for this week's caption contest and I have only got a handful of submissions. Looking for at least 10 more if I am going to offer captions are a reward...so get those pens writing about those glorious DSLs!

Victoria wanted a forced femme cap with a transformation that included some heavy makeup - so I whipped up this little cap based on this sexy image. Enjoy!

Contest Winner Cap: Anonymouse

Today's caption is for Anonymouse, who wanted a caption involving a lost bet that forces a guy to get a salon makeover and go to prom. I obliged with not one but two transformations - enjoy!

Winning the Bet to Winning Other Things

So a bit of an update for you all. First, today is a longer caption for you all now as a change of pace. But instead of just a change of pace, I want to discuss the direction that this blog should go. I've basically been taking a break, filling in Quick Caps and others that I've had stored in the interim. Part of the reason is that I don't know what I want to do next. So what better way to figure this out than to ask you all! I've put a poll on the top right of the blog with four options that I've considered. They are:

1. More longer caps - Basically just what I used to do, longer caps that have no sequence and are about whatever I feel like capping at the moment.
2. A new longer caption series - I really enjoyed doing HTBABB 101 for you all, and would put the time into thinking of a new series if you all would like that again.
3. Revive S.H.E.M.A.L.E Starz - I've always thought about continuing the S.H.E.M.A.L.E Starz storyline that I never finished. It's not a caption series, which some people like better, but I did enjoy it and felt bad about not completing it.
4. Revive Hypnotic Wishes - Along the same lines as the last option, I never finished the Hypnotic Wishes storyline. Someone mentioned bringing this back in a recent comment, so I though I'd offer it up as it would take only two more stories to finish.

I would ask all of you to vote in the poll (you can select multiple options!) and/or comment in any post for the next two weeks. This will give me a sense of what direction to head in once I come back from my break! Thanks everyone!
