So as a reminder, the next caption contest will start in just over a day (31 hours from now, to be exact), so get ready for that! Thank you for everyone who voted in the poll - there will be a prize for the top three "winners" of this contest, as voted by viewers and selected by me (so potentially six winners - three viewer-selected and three selected by me)! However, what the prize will be is still up in the air, so there is also a new poll up now to determine what the prize should be. Feel free to vote from now up until the next four days or so!

Hi everyone! Sorry for a bit of a delay in posting captions - I wanted to give the floor to the wonderful submission from the caption contest for a little while longer. Seriously, these were excellent!

Speaking of caption contests, the next one will start in about three days. I'm finishing up the poll results on what people think I should do about a prize for caption contests (so far it sounds like three winners chosen by me and viewers, so vote if you agree or what something different!) in the next day or so, then I'll put up another question that will run for a while until I think I get the sense of what people want.

But until the next contest and poll, enjoy some fun captions I've had stored up - after this one, you might have to go relieve yourself in the bathroom too!

Schoolgirl Caption Contest Presentation

Well without further ado, here are the FANTASTIC submission for the Schoolgirl Caption Contest! I really want to thank everyone involved for such a magnificent turnout. I am so glad to get a total of 28 captions from established and talented captioners, as well as those just getting their start - it makes all of this worthwhile! A special thanks to Mindy Z for going above and beyond with an eight-part caption series that will be appearing on her blog in the near future! There were also two others who had two-part captions and five more who wrote at least two captions, so thank you to those individuals as well! I couldn't be happier with the turnout and excellent captions and hope to continue these contests on a more frequent basis.

With that in mind, I put some poll questions up on how to direct future caption contest. I'm thinking about adding a prize (most likely a personal caption from me) to future contests and want to decide how to award the caps and who should determine the winners.
